I've been teaching and performing for 15 years. I studied the voice and its anatomy in the UK and the USA with Paul Farrington, Anne-Marie Speed & Christina Shewell. My students have been finalists on The Voice Ireland, won various music awards in the UK, garnered millions of plays on online platforms, and toured the US and Europe. They've also sung out loud in church, belted it out in the shower, and held notes that have brought them deep healing and relief.

"Those who can, do; those who can't teach?" Nope! I do both and love it! I regularly tour, do residencies, and take commissions for my work as a songwriter and electronic composer. And through all that, I give you a lesson each week! I appreciate innovators and their journeys, and so I also perform extended vocal works in my trio, Ends Meat' Catastrophe Jazz Ensemble. I've worked with Kronos Quartet, Fred Frith, Duke Special, the RTÉ National Orchestra, Zeena Parkins, inkboat, drummer Dony Wynn (Robert Palmer, Robert Plant), producer Brian Beattie (Okkervil River), opened for Florence + the Machine, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Devon Sproule, Steve Forbert and Eleanor McEvoy, and completed residencies and commissions for Christchurch Cathedral (Dublin), UABC (Mexico), Kunstuniverstät Graz (Austria), JMU (Virginia), and BRCC (Virginia), amongst many other people and places.

I bring to you my training in dance, Alexander technique, and yoga. My approach takes into account the needs and abilities of each student. I have a degree in music from Mills College, Oakland, California and a grade 8 in voice from RockSchool (Trinity). I am deeply cross-disciplinary: I worked for 8 years in a homeless shelter in Northern Ireland, and also studied theology.
